1. …indeed an amazing day. I have so many thoughts all day and night thinking about tomorrow. I sign onto DOV site and saw this scripture and went to the bible to read it entirely. Although, I know this scripture and have heard it several times but tonight it refresh my inner soul as if I had never heard it before. I am drained from the cares of my world that I have lost focus on what’s more important and that is to MEDITATE on the power of the word and let it MANIFEST in me. I can’t control nobody but the members of my body and sometimes struggle with that. I pray that Yah will extend his unfailing compassion and give me patience and strength to work through the hard times and don’t take the easy route. Thank you Sister Robin for all your articles and words of enlightenment. Praise Yah!

    1. Shalom Sister Jacqueline!
Thank you so much for sharing and it warms my heart to know that seeing this scripture helped to refresh and refocus your mind. It’s so easy to be consumed by the day-to-day in life, work, family, etc and what I have learned is that sometimes I (we) have to take off the superman cape because we try to do so much and sometimes it’s too much. Stress has no benefit. I often refer to myself as a professional over thinker…lol so there’s this diagram that I refer to often that asks if you should worry and it asks questions like:
“Do you have a problem?” Yes > “Can you fix it?” Yes > Then don’t worry
“Do you have a problem?” Yes > “Can you fix it?” No > Then don’t worry
You see the point of it all is that either way if there is a problem, we either can or can not fix the issue and regardless of the response > don’t worry about it. (I’ll post the diagram in a separate post, it’s a great reminder)
You are so right about not being able to control anyone so try not to fret my sister about them, they, him, her, issues or stresses of the day or tomorrow. Just remember to pray in all things. “Let go and Let Yah”
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
“Cast your cares on Yah and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22

May the blessings of Yah be with you and your family my Sister! Shalom
