Thanks to Sis. Janet from Rhode Island for sharing this yumminess during our week of Unleavened Bread. See below for a recipe for Cream Cheese Pound Cake…Unleavened, of course…lol. Enjoy!
UL Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3/4 lbs butter
8oz cream cheese
3 cups sugar
6 eggs (medium)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
3 cups flour
· Cream butter and cream cheese, then blend in sugar
· One at a time, blend in remaining ingredients
· Preheat oven to 325 degrees
· Grease/flour a tube pan or bundt (rises a couple inches, takes more than a bundt pan)
· Bake 1 1/2 hrs until toothpick comes out clean
· Sprinkle with powdered sugar when slightly cooled
