AED – An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). SCA is a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating.
NCCI is currently raising funds to purchase an AED to assist individuals at the Tabernacle that my be experiencing a cardiatric life threatening event. We are asking for donations of $10 to aide in the purchase of this important medical device. Any donation will be appreciated.
Donations can be provided in the same manner as pledges/offerings, be sure to identify it as a donation for the AED. This will be a great addition to our Tabernacle home.
If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to have them answered for you!
